In recent years there has been a tremendous increase in calories consumed from sugar-sweetened beverages. This report evaluates the social marketing campaign, “Pouring on the Pounds,” that strived to motivate San Francisco residents to eliminate or reduce soda and other sugar-sweetened beverage consumption though advertisements on city buses.
