Healthy Eating Active Communities and Central California Regional Obesity Prevention Program Final Report
This report provides the final evaluation for Healthy Eating Active Communities (HEAC) and Central California Regional Obesity Prevention Program (CCROPP). The HEAC program was designed to create healthier environments with the goal of preventing obesity among children and adults. The goals of CCROPP were increase access to healthy foods and create opportunities to engage in physical activity in low-income communities. The success of these programs in multiple California communities serves as a model for creating environments that promote healthy lifestyles.
